Both have their place. The choice depends on the room size, lighting and teaching style.
When to choose an interactive display
- classrooms and meeting rooms with viewing distances up to about 8 m,
- touch work: writing, apps, group work,
- bright rooms – the image does not fade in daylight,
- no lamp or filter costs, tens of thousands of operating hours.
When to choose a projector and screen
- auditoriums, lecture halls and cinema rooms with an image over 3 m wide,
- when image size matters on a limited budget,
- rooms that do not need touch.
